2.1 The objectives of the group shall be:

2.1.1 To celebrate and promote the diverse cultures, traditions, languages, histories, music, food and heritage of Southern African countries while encouraging cultural appreciation across the University of Birmingham

2.1.2 To provide a welcoming, inclusive and supportive community where students can build friendships, celebrate their identifies and foster a sense of belonging

2.1.3 To organise cultural, educational, social, charitable and professional developmental activities that encourage cultural exchange, community engagement and personal development for all members.
